I've never known what to do with myself during winter holiday. It was always easy in the past: play a shit ton of video games. But these past two years have been different, sort of. I picked up a bunch of books from the library to read over the break, but I'm thinking I'll only have time for one project. I can't decide between three projects.
- Acquaint myself with phenomenology
- Read some theoretical accounts of universal human rights
- Read about the development of international human rights law
I've started on #1, and I think I won't have time to get to 2 and 3 this break. I think it's only proper that I acquaint myself with phenomenology so I can investigate Levinas as a more informed reader.
