It's Winter Holiday Again / by Simmon Li

I've never known what to do with myself during winter holiday. It was always easy in the past: play a shit ton of video games. But these past two years have been different, sort of. I picked up a bunch of books from the library to read over the break, but I'm thinking I'll only have time for one project. I can't decide between three projects.

  1. Acquaint myself with phenomenology
  2. Read some theoretical accounts of universal human rights
  3. Read about the development of international human rights law

I've started on #1, and I think I won't have time to get to 2 and 3 this break. I think it's only proper that I acquaint myself with phenomenology so I can investigate Levinas as a more informed reader.
