Where to start with this LA-based duo? First of all, the name is stylized as ::M∆DE::IN::HEIGHTS:: — how cool is that? And second, they are just so much fun to listen to. This track is just pure groove with some great vocals. The song's got a really great groove to bust a move to (full disclosure: I have definitely busted a move to this song while making or washing up after dinner). The track is amazing for running to for the same reason it's great to dance to. The beat is relentless, but there's enough variety that it stays fresh and engaging. Then there's Kelsey's singing, which is awesome. You've probably figured out by now that I really enjoy female vocals over electronic stuff if you've caught any of my other features and playlists. This song, while a native of that genre, is one of many different sounds that the duo manages to capture. Certainly, I think what captures me about their music is the teetering between easy-listening pop that Slow Burn represents, and their more hip-hop inspired sounds like Forgiveness. Check out the track below!

If you're interested in hearing more, their newest album will be out May 26th (that's tomorrow, as of publishing time) and it features a good mix across all of their sounds. Don't miss out on this great duo!
